Census Questions Questions
It is time to kick off my super spring-like yellow Easter pumps and get to the nitty gritty. The 2010 census. I got a precocious alert in the mail that I would soon be receiving my census. Fair enough. I got the census. It had ten simple questions about how many people lived in my residence, and so on. There must be a few different versions because some people were asked to provide salary information, etc. Thankfully I did not. I have a definite aversion to telling people I don't know about things like that.I dutifully sent my census in only to receive another notice that it was required by law to send it in AND received yet another census. This time the ire started to rise. Who is paying for all this excess postage and paper?? My precious, extremely hard-earned money that is stripped away for tax purposes is being used to send people unnecessary copies of government documents. Think of the mounds of paper going to landfills. Think of the money used to pay our postal workers to deliver excess copies. I am officially infuriated.
On a brighter note, it was a beautiful and blessed Easter day that I got to spend with my wonderful family. Happy Easter to all and to all a goodnight.....
