Out of the mouth of.......teenagers
Cody commented to me the other day, "I can't believe Brad is getting married. It seems like just yesterday when he was stealing your car."
(In reference to the time (before Cody was even born) that my brother stole my 1994 calypso green Ford Escort 5 speed and went tooling around the addition we grew up in. He was so short that it looked like the car was driving itself. It's one of our favorite family memories to recount.)
And on that subject, I can't believe he is getting married either. I'm so, so happy for my "little" brother and his wonderful soon-to-be wife Natalie. I love them both and I know that December 17th is going to be a special day for all of us. And....I can't wait to have a sister!!!!!!!
I will be out of pocket from Sunday to Thursday as I'm traveling to Las Vegas for continuing education. I'm looking forward to expanding and remembering my skills in orthopedic surgery and plan to attend wet labs in cruciate repair, patellar surgery, and hopefully new techniques in femoral head ostectomy (FHO) and abdominal radiography. Wish me luck. I will attempt to take my iPad and to blog some of my trip. We'll see how well that works. I will return to attend a Giulioli wedding. And warning, I'm going to cry.

I laughed so hard reading the part about Cody and also about the Brad story. Hilarious. I can't wait for next weekend to spend time with you and the fam! We are going to have a blast!
