The Walk-Through

Today, with Kyle and I both dire exhaustion as he returned from the border yesterday and I have been running full steam ahead for way too long, we did the "walk-through" at our soon-to-be new house.  They armed us with colored tape and we took an eagle eye's view to every nook, structure and cranny in the place.   We crawled up and down.  We tore a million little pieces of tape off and put them on the walls, corners and baseboards.  I mean, its a new house, how many little imperfections can be there.  A lot.  It was overall beautiful.  But, since we are paying for it, we decided to be picky patty and make it perfect.  The fireplace works.  The granite is gorgeous.  We CAN NOT wait to have a porch -- no, wait--TWO porches!  Three hours later we finished, exhaled dramatically and realized that neither one of us had anything to eat yet today and the day was well into the afternoon.  We then realized, in the monsoon of the rain storm, that we didn't have time to eat.  Cody had a surprise wrestling practice, I had two critical care patients in the hospital and Kyle had to take Cody to Ada.  We started running again.  Wish us luck.  Move in countdown is at exactly two weeks.  We have not packed one single thing.
