Chickasaw National Reserve
Wow, December 31st. The very last day of 2012. It's been 30 days since I've had my sanity about me enough to post much of anything. Work blew up and made the holidays more hectic than they should have been. I suppose my New Year's resolutions should include blogging more frequently along with my standard diet and exercise, etc.
At any rate, I took a few days of vacation time this week and here is the outcome:
Hiking at the Chickasaw National Reserve. This post could also be called, "Stewdy's latest hiking adventure."
Although the plan was backpacking near Talimena, the weather decided differently. Day hikes are all we were able to do. In the park we saw lots of dear, birds, and lots of bison poop. No bison that day. I suppose it was too cold for those sissies. Not us!
