Writing my vows
I'm a writer from way back. Notice I didn't particularly say "a good writer." But I am a writer nevertheless. I have been known to crank out a few assignments on demand however, to my detriment I have learned that all my creative writing comes to me in a flash. At the most inopportune times. Like when I've just fallen asleep or when I just wake up. I think it might be because those are the times my crazy mind is quieted letting the words spill through my normally buzzing with activity gray matter. For instance, my wedding vows. I've got to write them and they can't just be run of the mill vows. "Gee, you're swell- let's go through life together." I put the thought of needing to write them in my head. I woke up at 5-something this morning and got 3/4 of them written!!! I've learned from vast experience when writing blogs, speeches, etc. that if I don't get up and jot the words down on something that they will be gone forever. This is tragic. I could have won a Pulitzer by now. In my sleep!!!! And no one will ever know.

LOL Now those of us in the blogging world know! :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you got most of them done! How exciting. And I'm very impressed. At 5-something in the morning I can't even form complete words.
