Date at the Bait Shop

Kyle and I went to Red Rock Canyon to check out the hiking trails, repelling areas and to take some pictures.  The wind was hideous and after climbing about 8 feet off the ground with no harnesses and swaying in the wind atop the canyon walls, we retired for the day.  I didn't get one good picture.

We decided that we'd go on a date to a place near Ft. Cobb Lake that a friend had told me about.  We googled The Boathouse from my smartphone and came up J and M's Boathouse.  We called for directions and to make sure they were open.  When we got in the vicinity we stopped at a couple of gas stations for directions.  It was getting dark.  They gave us directions to a place called the DeckBoat.  The DeckBoat was a steakhouse and was most definitely in the middle of nowhere and closed.   Deciding that it was not the correct place, one because it was closed, two - because the name wasn't right, and three because we had spoken to a guy there who had attempted to give us directions.

Thirty minutes later we are lost and stop in at a bait shop.  It turned out, in fact, to be J and M's Boathouse.  The man laughed at us, said there were no restaurants around there, and sent us on our way.  We were hungry, tired, and just wanted to go on our date.  After a bit of delirium we realized that we would always remember our date at the bait shop.  Then we had to drive the hour and a half home.
