Speed Up Lane

Wow!  It's been a while.  Sadly, this tends to be a trend.  Things just heat up - work is going wel,l but busy.  I have 3 presentations this week.  Cody is wrestling at full speed right now 3-4 nights a week.  Last night, after a meeting all day in the Quail Springs area, a friend and I met the OKC climb group at McNellie's for Beer, Burgers, and Bouldering - sans the beer because, well, - I'm a beginner and I can barely climb without the beer.  Anyway, suffice it to say that I'm having trouble moving today.  Muscles I didn't know I had hurt, as do my knees.

We came out of Rocktown and the hideous north wind was blowing big chunks of snow and ice horizontally.  The ground was white.  The windshield was frozen.  Were we really in there that long?

Lastly, and quickly because I have to leave for work--- Cody is learning to drive.  We have a permit, folks.  It's a bit disconcerning.  Or just flat scary.  Anyway, we went to pick up Regan to go snow tubing one day in between Christmas and New Years - we took the back roads.  Cody drove.  We discovered (thankfully while not many other people were on the road) that he thought the merge lanes with the yield signs were "speed up lanes."  You can imagine my dismay (and terrifying screams).  It really is life in the fast lane now.
