It's Most Entertaining.......

....to take a last name, especially one with particular cultural flare ... and say it in different accents.  For example:  take the name "Hernandez"

Say it like you are from:
Ireland
Russia
Spain
Canida Chinese (its own Chinese dialect)
Australian (my fav)
British

You have to really say it to be amused.  And you'll surprised at how difficult it is.  You really have to concentrate.

Sometimes you drop the H sound.  Sometimes the em-PHA-sis is in the middle. Sometimes it has a ring to it with a, "mate" at the end.  Kate has to say in her head, "Foster's, Australian for Beer" in an Aussie accent before she can translate any name in the Aussie accent.  This is what we do at work.

Try Canida.
