Blog Books and My Fare Ladies
Do you know how easy it is to make your blog into a book? I have done this three years running and have my cherised memories and greatest stories in the written form resting in my home.
My friend Kate finds this fact highly amusing. She says I have "blooks." Get it? Blog books = blooks. She also says that she would like to see the last t-shirt that I made. (Excuse me? I don't make my own t-shirts!) She thinks, "I can't really see you being a shirt-making kind of girl. But you did surprise me with your affinity for sparkly, glittery items. And owls."
Oh how I do love owls. And not the creepy kind. Just the cute fabric kind or the ones on children's patterns. Oh and the crocheted ones that are hats. I really want one. I just posted a picture of some cute ones on Pinterest and asked someone to make me one. I think me wearing a crocheted owl hat would be like this --"a wise owl for a wise one." It fits, don't you think?
Anyway, back to topic.
Blooks are totally in. And this brings us full circle to another topic. An eclectic group of crazy citizens (me included) are getting together to write a blog called, "My Fare Ladies." Well, there is one guy. And we are going to be telling everyone about the fare in OKC. I won't be contributing as much as the others, because frankly I hardly have time to shave my legs these days - but that's another story altogether. I will post the link. Check it out. And then go try these fabulous places on your own and leave your comment!
