A Day of Love

I am normally not a big fan of Valentine's Day.  In fact, some years I have literally dreaded, demised, and tried to forget the day ever existed.  However, since my husband and I have been together, I have a new take on the day.  It's not so bad.

This year, my wonderful, amazing, and best hubby around did something he will never be able to top.  He hired someone to come in and clean the house once a month.  This is the ultimate gift for the career woman who works 11-12 hour days and has her days off scheduled with tasks, chores, and duties a month in advance.  This is the most amazing gift ever. 

And then, he got me chocolate (which I gave up for Lent, but I'm sure will eat at some point after Easter).  And he tried to get me a pair of riding boots but he got the wrong size, took them back to Dillard's and came home with a gift card.   Again, he gets kudo's because who can't use/love a Dillard's gift card. 

AND then, he took me and Cody to a fun and delicious dinner at Wasabi's where we sat at the hibachi and had yummy filet minon and scallops. 

AND THEN, he.......just kidding. 

It was a great day.  I have the best Valentine.
