Donkeys on the Roof

It's not yet December 1st, but I'm already behind.  Thankfully, Kyle and I got to spend a really, really fun afternoon yesterday Christmas shopping.  We don't get many days off together so it is especially nice when we get to spend time together.

I made coffee this morning two hours ago and haven't gotten to drink a cup yet.  I'm frantically trying to take advantage of Cyber Monday deals for my dear friends that live far enough away that I won't see them before Christmas.  I'm sitting in my pink pajama pants and Kyle's Afghanistan Police sweatshirt (again, because all my winter clothes are packed up in the towering terror that is the garage - another thing I have to accomplish today) trying to compile my to-do list out of my December to-do list.  Does that make sense?

Two days ago I was driving across 59th street to hit Airport Road and go to work.  There's this house that's partially underground.  I mean, you can see the house.  It's not invisible or all the way underground, but the earth comes up over it on the back (north) side.  The donkeys were standing on the house.  I'm thinking that's a pretty weird sight.  Have you ever seen a donkey on a roof?  A reindeer maybe, but never a donkey.  I wanted to take a picture but I didn't want to look weird and it was cold.  I wonder if those people can hear them clomping around up there.
