Full Moon Madness
About my day yesterday:
Random chaos at work in the form of various work up walkins
A lady whose very sick dog was dropped off and she wouldn't a)come get him b) answer her phone c) let me take xrays d) refer him for overnight IV fluids at the emergency center e) show up before closing
I was carrying a bunch of stuff to my Jeep and accidently and inadvertently pushed the panic button on my keys (to which the jeep starts honking loudly). I can't turn it off by pushing it again 47 times. I finally put the key in the ignition and it stops. I shut the door to the passenger side. Apparently I had pushed all the buttons on the key including the LOCK button. My Jeep was running with the windshield wipers on and I was locked out. I looked up to see the full moon and I knew why the day had taken a turn for the worst. My mother-in-law, thankfully, was at my house since my husband was out of town. She brought the spare key up and saved the day.
Thankfully, Kyle made it home.
The dog stayed overnight at the hospital.
The Jeep still has gas in it after the locked out fiasco.
I hate full moons.
