Out of the Mouths of ... Teenagers
We are quickly learning that all of Cody's teachers and coaches have the same experience as we have at home...you never know what Cody is going to say.
Just last night at the wrestling Takedown Club meeting one of his coaches expressed his amusement at the fact that Cody just "out of the blue" said, "Coach, I really want to go shoot a squirrel."
At least he didn't say, "Them are good eatin'!" Mortification would have ensued in the parental units.
One of the coaches actually said, "Cody, sometimes I just want to be in your presence and not hear you." [He's very "social" you see. That's a common characterization by his teachers.]
His latest words:
"Spaghetti mom, come over here and "pop a squat." (oh my)
"No punt intended." (good heavens)
Never a dull moment in this household....
