Rainy Days and the Big Red Box
What started as a beautiful morning and afternoon ended in rain -- which isn't bad. Actually it's great since my plants needed water and it's great sleeping weather. However, I asked a couple of the other doctors what they thought about the sky getting more gray and the prospect of me going for a jog right after work. It was decided that the 7 or 8 inches of rain (yeah right) that we were going to get wouldn't start until late evening. Wrong. I got caught in the downpour halfway into my jog. I decided since I was already wet that I might as well go grocery shopping at the Wal-Marts while secretly hoping that there would be fewer people there. I parked a mile from the door, walked into the store in the rain, and walked out of the store an hour later in another downpour. Good times.
It was dark by the time I got out of the store. It is getting darker so early now!!! And I did something monumental.....I rented movies from the big red box. I paid $2.18 for 2 (count them, two) movies and I intend on watching them both before 9pm tomorrow when they have to be returned. I'm pretty excited. It's a big step for me. I hate doing new things by myself but now I have faced the fear and .......rented movies from the big red box.
On another note, both of my West Nile Virus horses went home today. Excellent!
I'll let you know how the movies are.......
