T5: Chimney Rock Picnic Area

After the short stint on the Appalachian Trail (short being 1.7 miles up, up, up and then 1.7 miles down, down, down) we drove to the Chimney Rock Picnic Area to eat our sandwiches before heading back on the trails. It was wonderful and scenic and had ice cold rushing water among huge boulders. It was the perfect relaxation area.
