It's pathetic that it's almost 2011 and I'm still blogging about our trip to the Smoky Mountains at the beginning of 2010. But, I'm doing it. The Texas Trip Two-Thousand Ten (T5) was an amazing journey through some of America's most beautiful areas.

First we decided it was a must to hike a portion of the Appalachian Trail. We hoped to catch a glimpse of the through hikers going from Georgia to Maine. We chose the Sweat Heifer Creek Trail which was awesome. The views were incredible and the wildflowers were still out although waning. We even saw some through hikers. I can't even imagine how they were doing it.
