Baby Eli

In 2013...we welcomed a new baby into the family.  My brother, Brad, and his wife, Natalie had a little boy....Eli Scott.  This makes me very, very important.  Its tough being the FAVORITE aunt.  I mean, I have to deal with sharing my name with another aunt Amy (see http://agrdvm.blogspot.com/2013/12/auntie.html ).  And I have to live 2-3 hours away depending on where Eli is at any moment in time.  This is also important because I will be a significant influence on his amazing life!

And now he's getting so big!!!

And he has gotten clothes from the Bahamas (well dressed kid!), and a merecat costume from the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago (Halloween costume), and now he will get presents from Florida! 

And the most important....Aunt Amy got him what will be his favorite book, "What Does the Fox Say?"  His parents are going to LOVE reading that to him. 

All I can say is I hope he's ready to have such an awesome aunt.  I can't wait until he's big enough to come stay!!!
