Charley is a....

I had this ever-so-riveting topic to blog about.  I thought of it just before I went to sleep last week.  But, I didn't write it down.  And now, for the life of me, I can't remember what it was.  How rude. 

So, you're stuck with Charley.  I'm reading John Steinbeck's, "Travels with Charley."  Charley is a dog.  Man's best friend.  As you can imagine, he goes everywhere in the book with the main character.  If I were to imagine and picture Charley, I would think he was probably a blue heeler or something - riding loyally in the front seat.  But, no.  Charley is a.................poodle.  Huh?  And not one of those mini-winni-have some tea kinda poodles.  Just not what I imagined.  The rest of the book is great.  I'll let you know.
